Hopefully by the title you can make an educated guess as to what I am smiling about. Our social worker called today and informed us that we have been placed with a baby girl. We don't know details but we do know that we are overjoyed and honored that we were chosen to care for her. I wish I could right more but that is all that we know. Her name is Alyssa and she is 6 months old. We will have her history and a photo presented to us on Wednesday. I cannot wait to see what she looks like!
Tim and I were talking about her and I frantically started looking for a piece of paper to start a list on. Oh man, we are going to need diapers, formula, bottles, clothes, a car seat and a cute pink Chargers jersey!!!! We have a lot of work to do!!!! Although Tim is exhausted from a busy week of work, I know that when he wakes up tomorrow the wheels will start turning more and he will realize that he is going to have a little girl to protect and spoil!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your prayers. I am glad to have the ability to update everyone so quickly and share the good news. Please continue to pray for Alyssa, the birth mother and us as a family. Everything is about to change and I cannot wait!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! We are so very excited for you guys,and for Alyssa because she's about to join such an awesome family. We cannot wait to see pictures and meet her in person.

I am so excited for you guys. Let me know what kind of stuff you need, I actually just packed up all of Katherine's pink bottles, and a bunch of her clothes that don't fit anymore. I'd love for your little Alyssa to get some use out of them.
Let me know, I have lots of girl stuff, and since Katherine is six months ahead of her, thats perfect. I love to help anyway I can.

Oh... oh... I am at a loss for words. In fact I just sat here and cried... cried happy tears for I know how your heart has been wanting a little princess! We will talk more... but right now I just wanted to tell you that my heart is so full of joy and excitement for you and your already beautiful family!
